Nurturing Staff

Common phrases we often hear used by Teachers include

  • “we’re not sure where to start”
  • “we don’t see the benefit/purpose”
  • “how are we supposed to engage students for 30/60 minutes, when they don’t see the benefit?”
  • “how do we teach this stuff?”
  • “what about us? We’re stressed too!”
  • “the kids are moving on what about us?”
  • “we should be able to do this without third party support”
  • “I’m not trained to teach this”

All are very valid comments.  Although the UK Government has asked for PSHCE, SEAL and Every Child Matters objectives to be met in all schools and colleges, the ECM website also suggests finding the right partners to ensure effectiveness.

Schools can choose to view these as a “tick box” exercise, however we’re sure you’d much rather see your investment of time and resources being highly effective.  This is where Stress Free can assist.

Stress Free can provide support for your staff team that will ensure that they are in the best place possible, as individuals, to enbrace these personal, social and emotional into the culture of your school, for everyone to benefit.

With the exception of some content for Citizenship, personal, social and emotional development cannot be taught, it needs to be facilitated, using the contribution of the students to get to the session objectives so that students and staff, learn and grow together.
